Chemech Consulting was founded in 2008 by Brendan Parker and Ian Edwards, bringing together their complementary strengths in chemical and mechanical engineering.

 

Their partnership was cemented during the demanding design phase of Newmont’s Boddington Gold Project, an experience that set the tone for the way they continue to approach every project i.e. with very high levels of technical rigour, diligence, collaboration, and long-term commitment.

Chemech has never been about just selling hours or moving quickly from one client to the next. It’s about two people who remain personally invested in the outcomes for the operations and projects they become involved with.

With decades of site-based and operational experience, Brendan and Ian stay engaged with clients well beyond design and commissioning. That ongoing involvement has built a large database of practical lessons and insights that they carry forward into new studies, designs, and advisory work.
